Women's Health & Primary care
Primary care is the day-to-day healthcare given by a health care provider. This provider usually acts as the first contact and principal point of continuing care for patients and also can coordinate other specialist care that a patient may need.
PSYCHIATRIC and PSYCHOLOGICAL
Our diverse team of providers conducts structured psychiatric, psychological, and neuropsychological tests and clinical interviews designed to identify and diagnose emotional, behavioral, learning, and other mental health challenges.
MENTAL HEALTH MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Our team of highly-qualified and experienced psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNP-BCs) work with you to evaluate, diagnose, and treat behavioral health issues. Our medication management services are outpatient treatments that involve the initial evaluation of the potential need for psychotropic medications (antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications, stimulants, antipsychotics, or mood stabilizers), the provision of prescription(s), and ongoing patient medical monitoring.
Neurofeedback, also known as EEG (electroencephalogram) biofeedback, is a therapeutic intervention that provides immediate feedback from a computer-based program that assesses a client’s brainwave activity. The program then uses sound or visual signals to reorganize or retrain these brain signals. By responding to this process, clients learn to regulate and improve their brain function and alleviate symptoms of various neurological and mental health disorders.
Sometimes there are obstacles to being physically present in a clinic location. We recognize this and strive to ensure that help is still available. Our providers leverage a variety of technology platforms to ensure you have secure access to the care you need when and where you need it.

Nick Nicholson, PA
Nick Nicholson is a physician assistant (PA) who specializes in psychiatric and addiction medicine. He graduated in 2014 from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN, and became certified by the NCCPA after passing his boards on the first attempt. He has a passion for helping those patients struggling with mental health conditions as he has seen that there is no suffering quite like emotional pain. In an effort to be part of the solution and not the problem, he takes a conservative approach when it comes to prescribing medications. He also has his DATA DEA X-waiver to prescribe suboxone to opiate-dependent patients with the goal being to eventually have them off opiates altogether.
He grew up in OK and has spent his entire professional career here. He is the son of a 1978 graduate of Oklahoma State University’s veterinary program and is proud to say that he is a Cowboy through and through. He is thrilled to be working in Stillwater and would love the opportunity to work with any patients that may benefit from his care.
